DARREN SCOTTI
Darren focuses on the provision of a range of services from financial modelling to mergers and acquisitions, due diligence work, negotiations, banking submissions and relationships and general consulting. Darren holds a degree in Accounting and is a CPA member with over 20 years experience both in Australia and overseas. Darren was awarded a Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence for his Bachelor of Business – Accounting.
Specialising in business expansion, financial modelling and negotiating Darren has honed his skills in a wide range of industries and diverse businesses from large multi-nationals to small to medium owner-operator concerns.
Darren’s expertise is in wholesale, distribution and supply chain gained through his role as CFO with Michelin Australia and The Heat Group (a combined 10 years), an insolvency specialist with Coopers and Lybrand and an investment review role with 3i, the UK’s largest venture capitalist.
On a personal level Darren has also been a Tertiary student mentor for The Smith Family for the past two years and has recently started mentoring a secondary school student, also through The Smith Family.
RAY BROWN
Ray is a business coach and entrepreneur. He built and sold several of his own businesses in Scotland before leading two large food businesses. He was a management consultant for 10 years in the UK before relocating to Australia with his family in 2005.
Ray has coached startups, major banks, technology companies and top executives. His coaching style is relaxed, flexible and effective.
Ray worked for 7 years with Shirlaws, the global business coaching company, before recently joining the team at Synchra Group. He is part time CEO of Armstrong Flow Control and an active shareholder in a recent start-up called The Content Consultancy.
Big things in Ray’s life at the moment (outside work!) are a new grandson and renovating a beach house in Mount Martha.
